2017: Challenging hikes, city walks & much more

Hello Freshwalkers, a quick preview of our plans for 2017.

After an amazing couple of years that have seen hundreds of the North West’s finest hike many thousands of miles, Freshwalks is evolving. More dates, new routes and the launch of a brand new regular format.

Choice and relevance will be at the heart of the Freshwalks programme with an expanded range of difficulty grading. Most months will see an easy route, with medium & hard alternating every other. And in the summer months there’ll be some extreme hikes requiring longer daylight hours as we explore the darkest depths of the Dark Peak. Beyond Bleaklow even. There’ll be another summer pool party in Hathersage, a trip to Snowdon and much more. Something for everyone, we hope.

But to get 2017 off to a flyer, we’re very excited to launch Freshwalks City, an express bite-sized version of our main event, designed to fit within your lunch hour. Our mission is to get Manchester’s business community walking more. To encourage behavioural change that will undoubtedly improve the health and wellbeing of our working population and positively affect business productivity.

You are also going to meet some amazing people, make valuable business contacts and return to the office buzzing with energy and ideas. Please have a look at our forthcoming dates below; across the city and in the hills. Feel free to share with colleagues and friends.
